I’m beyond thrilled to be the next City of Bainbridge Island Councilmember for North Ward, District 7.

Ready to Serve

I grew up on Bainbridge Island when there were just 12,000 residents, and I’ve been proud to call it home for more than 50 years. I’m running for City Council because I care deeply about this community and the neighbors who make it special. Growth is inevitable, but with thoughtful leadership we can protect our natural resources, make room for new neighbors, and preserve the hometown feel we all value. I believe in steady, practical government that maintains our core infrastructure, supports residents, and uses resources wisely. I’m running to represent the North Ward, but the entire island will be able to vote for me in the General Election, and no matter who you choose this November, I hope you’ll make your voice heard and vote.

    Affordable housing demands creative, flexible strategies that address the diverse needs of our community. By exploring multiple approaches, we can keep Bainbridge Island a place where everyone can live and thrive.

  • Thoughtful Leadership

    Good leadership means slowing down to make smart, informed choices before committing to major projects. When things go off track, leaders must take responsibility and guide us back in the right direction.

  • Adaptability and Collaboration

    Strong leadership requires listening, adjusting, and responding when circumstances change. By fostering collaboration across agencies and departments, we can ensure better outcomes for the entire community.

  • Community First

    The best decisions come when residents are involved from the start. By prioritizing community voices, we can focus resources on what matters most — from housing to childcare to elder care.
